In December, we experienced very exciting events and developments at Techcareer.net. Here are the highlights of this month:
Best WordPress Plugins
A WordPress plugin is an important software component that you can include on your WordPress-built website. These specially designed plugins help you use WordPress more efficiently and tailor it to your goals. At the basic level, using WordPress plugins comes at no cost. You can install, use, and modify plugins as needed. For premium themes and plugins, you may need to make an additional payment, but the majority of popular plugins are accessible for free.
What is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a process of solving complex problems by focusing on users. The term Design Thinking has been translated into our language as user-centered design thinking. Design Thinking aims to solve complex problems by using creative thinking methods and involves prototyping and testing stages in the process. Many organizations apply Design Thinking in their business processes to develop user-centered products.
What is PHP? What is PHP Syntax?
PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is an open-source, server-side programming language used to build websites, applications, customer relationship management systems, and more. PHP, which is embedded in HTML and widely used as a general-purpose language, continues to be a popular choice due to its HTML function that simplifies HTML code. Since its release, PHP has had 8 versions as of 2022, with the popular version 8.1 currently being used on websites.
🔹 We met with students at the Southeast Career Fair!
We participated in the Southeast Career Fair, organized under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office and hosted by Harran University on December 26-27, 2024, in Şanlıurfa. At this fair, we had the chance to meet with students and provide guidance on technology career opportunities and the business world. While many companies from various sectors gathered at GÜDKAF, we had the opportunity to meet young talents in technology and support them in their career journeys.
🔹 Senior Community Program 1.0 has started!
Within the scope of the Senior Community Program 1.0, we held live broadcasts on Agile and Scrum Methodology with Techcareer.net Sr. Product Manager Elçin TORUN, and on Microsoft Azure Cloud with Microsoft MVP Özdemir Mustafa. In this program, shaped by the needs of senior candidates identified through surveys, our trainers shared their knowledge and experiences during live broadcasts while answering the candidates' questions and guiding them. Don't forget to apply for the workshops and the meet-up event, where you can network with HR professionals from Techcareer.net and Kariyer.net, after the three live broadcasts!
🔹 The 2-day Project Management Bootcamp, organized in collaboration with PeopleBox, was successfully completed!
Throughout the Project Management Bootcamp process, participants had the opportunity to develop crucial skills in project management, such as planning, risk management, time management, and team coordination, while reinforcing this knowledge with real-world examples. Participants who successfully completed the training had the chance to work with the PeopleBox team, taking a significant step in their careers. This process not only helped participants gain new skills but also laid a strong foundation for their future career goals.

At Techcareer.net, we created an opportunity for senior developers to gain in-depth knowledge of Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, two leading platforms in the cloud computing world, as part of the Senior Community Program 1.0.
