Digital marketing refers to marketing activities carried out using the internet and technological products.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing encompasses marketing activities for products and services conducted through digital communication channels. It aims to reach people via computers, phones, tablets, and any other devices connected to the internet. The internet, which connects millions of people, offers unmissable opportunities for marketing activities. Compared to traditional marketing, digital marketing offers the chance to reach wider audiences at lower costs. Moreover, the effects of marketing activities are more measurable.

Different methods and tools are used in the digital marketing process to introduce the products and services offered by businesses to potential customers. Although those with insufficient knowledge about digital marketing might think it only involves posting on social media or creating and publishing ads, it is actually a much more complex field requiring various expertise.

Social media marketing is essential for digital marketing. Nowadays, it is almost mandatory for businesses that want to make sales via the internet to be present on social media.
