Job Description:

The candidate will develop embedded software on Networking Devices using C/C++ programming language. Developed code pieces will run in user-space in Linux Operating system; and interact with Linux Kernel. Using state-of-the-art verification tools, the candidate will fully validate the intended functionality and analyze the developed code from a security and performance perspective. Candidate will fix bugs, and issues and create documentation for developed codes. The candidate should be eager to participate in the product testing process whenever it is necessary. Candidate should be suitable for in-office work.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of C/C++ in academic / industrial projects, preferably for embedded systems, (C knowledge is mandatory, C++ knowledge is strongly preferred.)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Linux Socket programming is preferred,
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi Standards is a plus,
• Embedded Linux user-space SW development experience is preferred, 
• Good understanding of version control systems (git), test automation, and agile methodologies
• A university degree is not required for experienced applicants, a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science is preferred for junior applicants,
• Ability to work in international teams.
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal) 
• No restriction for international travel
• Only candidates living or able to move to the Anatolian side of Istanbul will be evaluated.

About QuantWiFi:

QuantWiFi was founded in 2019, located at Teknopark Istanbul. QuantWiFi develops an end-to-end solution that measures Wi-Fi link performance between Network Gateways and associated Wi-Fi clients and makes decisions on link quality based on performance data correlating to Wi-Fi QoS metrics. Network device performance data is posted to the QuantWiFi cloud for processing. Cloud servers analyze each Network Device data collectively; and learn how it is linked to Customer Experience (QoE) while identifying instantaneous deviations that disrupt customer experience. Such disruptions are reported back to the Call Center, but even to the end user if requested. QuantWiFi was invested by Turk Telekom in October 2021 and secured a multi-year contract as a Wi-Fi Analytics Solution provider to Turk Telekom.
