Senior Data Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work on collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing huge sets of data. You will also work closely with the game development team to do what’s best for the games.

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing our data collection pipeline, our large-scale analytics, and ML platform
• Monitoring and maintaining production streaming and batch applications
• Develop deep learning and reinforcement learning models to simulate human gameplay
• Develop applications like NLP text moderation and cheat detection, including data preparation, API integration, and ML model development
• Developing a large-scale cloud-based system and building infrastructure for the data pipeline from scratch
• Building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on GCP using technologies BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow, and dbt Cloud

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering or related experience
• Hands-on experience in SQL and Python
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT data pipelines and data modeling
• Experience in data ingestion from a variety of sources like DBs, APIs, streaming data
• Experience building systems to perform real-time data processing using Apache Beam, Google Pub/Sub, or Kafka
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning
• Passion and interest in games
• Appreciation and understanding of teamwork
