Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Senior System Support Specialist to join our Information Technology Department in Antalya. The Senior System Support Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Job Description:
- Install and manage Windows and Linux-based servers and their applications
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, high-performance, and secure system infrastructures that meet business requirements
- Manage backup infrastructure and monitor daily operations
- Ensure continuous operation by monitoring business continuity systems
- Perform maintenance, updates, and apply current security patches to server infrastructures
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance
- Conduct capacity planning and efficiently manage resources
- Work in compliance with ISO 27001 standards and aviation rules set by the SHGM, supporting their implementation within the company
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve findings and security vulnerabilities
- Manage suppliers for task-related matters
- Perform system infrastructure controls in projects, monitor policy compliance, and provide corrective notifications when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- At least 5 years of System Support experience
- Proven experience in setting up and managing Datacenter, Cloud, System and Database Management, Migration, Server, Storage, and Backup projects
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vCloud), Hyper-V, including setup and management
- Strong knowledge and experience in operating Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Expertise in installation, management, and troubleshooting of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Terminal Server, File Server, Cluster, and related applications
- Knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services
- Familiarity with backup solutions
- Preferably knowledgeable in MS-SQL server and Oracle Database installation and management
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Security Standard and KVKK technical measures
- Certifications such as MCSE, Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or RHCSA are a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with a strong solution focused approach
- Very good written and spoken command of English
