Software Product (Manager) Engineer

What to Expect
In this position, you will focus on building the best software products for our back-end applications, such as our vehicle and energy products billing platform. In doing so, we aim to provide the best user experience to our internal users by using state-of-the-art technologies. You collaborate with various stakeholders and program managers, coordinate the collective product roadmap and are co-responsible for the technical design and implementation plan.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the requirement gathering, design, analysis, training, testing, and the final outcomes.
• Provide improvement recommendations that are based on best practices and industry standards, continuously monitor the new trends to inform current decisions.
• Prioritize contrasting needs based on the needs of the company/customer.
• Delegate and monitor a range of tasks and requirements to a variety of product teams.
• Handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel and ensure smooth and capable execution.
• Be the team's point of contact for technical decisions and remove obstacles.

What You’ll Bring

• Excellent knowledge of software design, testing practices, and software analysis.
• Experience working in an Agile software product team.
• Clear, regular and effective communication with managers, stakeholders and internal team members in both written and verbal form.
• Aptitude to learn and challenge the status quo.
• Must be proficient user in Jira, Confluence and Git.
• Knowledge and proficiency querying and updating SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Some degree of flexibility is desired as different teams work in different time zones.
