Software Test Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:

• Prepare end-to-end test scenarios based on functional requirements
• Conduct manual functional tests and report on their outcome
•  Perform functional analysis of the software to ensure all requirements are satisfied
• As part of a CI/CD ecosystem, design, implement and maintain automated black box testing procedures for:
• A multi-disciplinary, multi-component, medium-scale industrial software suite
• System-software that interfaces with physical hardware and/or machinery.
• Embedded devices

Prerequisites:

• Ability to function effectively in an entirely GNU/Linux based ecosystem with many components
• Decent programming skills at least in all of: C, C++, Python
• At least 3 years of professional experience in hands-on programming
• At least 3 years of professional experience in hands-on software-testing
• At least 2 years of professional experience in hands-on CI/CD
• Moderate competency in written English
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

General Info:

This position involves a fair bit of actual programming and dealing with system-software. So only professional software-engineers with a passion for and hands-on experience in software-testing will be considered as a candidate.
