Obilet.com, founded in 2012, is an end-to-end travel ticketing application listing hundreds of bus operators, airlines and ferry companies. Obilet also provides bus operators with a best-in-class Inventory Management System (IMS) in the form of SaaS.

Obilet is the indisputable market leader in Turkey across both B2B and B2C segments with 400 bus carriers using its IMS software, 25 million monthly visitors, and 15 million app downloads.

Obilet is projected to further strengthen its position among the largest travel ticketing applications globally by mediating more than 40 million ticket sales in 2024. Obilet has expanded its category offerings to include hotel bookings and car rental services, and initiated its international expansion with the aim of achieving one of the largest global market coverage in the industry.

We are looking for a "SQL - Product Specialist" to be involved in the development of our ticket automation products, managing integration processes, and tracking customer requests. If you would like to be a part of our team, we look forward to receiving your application.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Knowledge of SQL, Postman, and SOAP UI
• Preferably holds a Class B driver's license
• Proficient in data analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and solution-oriented
• Proactive and results-oriented
• No restrictions on travel

Job requirements
Main responsibilities will include:

• Collect and evaluate company requests
• Provide information about product developments to customers
• Support customers when making infrastructure changes
• Address and solve issues related to customer operations
• Conduct customer visits when necessary
• Manage the process for new product development, updates, and new features
• Create test scenarios for new modules
• Perform manual tests of assigned modules within the system (API, Service, etc.)
• Complete test processes, finalizing tests, and providing feedback
• Manage integration processes in third-party companies
• Receive campaign requests and transfer them to the software
• Act as a bridge between the software team and third-party companies on issues outside the software team's scope
• Manage issues end-to-end
• SQL Server and T-SQL Usage: Write database queries to meet internal customer requirements
• Stored Procedures and Functions: Implement database processes using stored procedures and functions
• Cursor and SQL Job Usage: Manage data processing workflows using cursors and creating/ managing SQL jobs to run at specified times
• Database Mail: Utilize the Database Mail feature to create and manage automated email notifications from the database
