Information Technology Specialist

We are looking for an IT Specialist for our global business partner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
• Minimum two years of commercial experience in an IT Support/Helpdesk position,  
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing user accounts in Active Directory,  
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues,
• Proficient in Antivirus Programs, Firewall systems, and Cybersecurity,
• Experience in user first-line IT support in handling daily requests,     
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, knowledge of MacOS will be an additional advantage, 
• Knowledge of Office 365 or Microsoft 365 will be an additional advantage, 
• Knowledge of basic scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) will be an additional advantage, 
• Familiarity with print management systems and managing antivirus software in corporate, 
• Knowledge of IT security best practices will be an additional advantage, 
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and user support,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team,
• Good English language skills at a minimum of B2 level (in speech and writing).

Job Description

• Monitoring and troubleshooting errors in existing systems and networks, taking necessary actions for resolution, 
• Performing in-house server, network and system installation,
• Providing support to end-users working in a domain environment,
• Supporting for users in a distributed environment. Possibility of visits to field offices,
• Executing server installation and maintenance processes,
• Supporting all IT problems and requests from users and branches,
• Daily support for local users in solving IT problems,
• Providing support and advice to users on the use of user programs (MS Office packages), 
• Managing processes in Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory structure, 
• Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software systems,
• Performing operations on server and end-user backup and restore systems, 
• Controlling branch turnstile systems and reporting software problems, 
• Setup and configuration of local IT environment according to corporate standards,
• Managing local IT budget according to corporate standards and legal obligations,
• Managing & implementing local infrastructure according to business needs (LAN/WAN, Server & Storage, Audiovisual) according to corporate policies,
• Ensure troubleshooting & resolution on local infrastructure,
• Taking care of users' security: passing on good practices and informing about possible dangers,
• Becoming the local representative for the global IT organisation, 
• Managing IT projects, including upgrades and new system implementations, 
• Establishment and control of the global ERP system.
