Key Qualifications

• Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with UNIX shell-scripting and Python.
• Experience in developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed bug reports, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
• Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high quality release.
• Ability to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained.
• Experience in learning new tools/technologies and testing consumer electronics, mobile applications & experiences.
• Ability to work on manual testing & automation.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. As a Tools and Automation Engineer, you will support testing of multiple features and drive the quality of user-facing features and systems. You will be taking an active role in shaping the quality of our software. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constantly evolving priorities.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
