About Futurino:

Futurino Information Technologies was founded in 2011 by educator and engineer investors to develop softwares and projects in the Education Technologies (EdTech) domain. Futurino carries out its R&D studies in YTÜ Technopark with its wide staff of software developers, teachers and academic advisors. Futurino aims to combine the possibilities of Educational Sciences and Computer Science in innovative and creative projects that recognize and understand students and produce the most suitable solutions for them.

We are looking for a Software Team Leader who can provide leadership a team and direction to software development. You will have a great chance to have technical and management career. You are expected to apply techniques and algorithms to solve the real world EdTech problems and also lead the software team. As a Software Team Leader, you will take a role in each phase of projects, i.e. analyzing, designing, prototyping, development and testing. You will be working in a proactive and dynamic team who has experience in EdTech projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and solve all matters relating to the software team, customers and projects

• Build a good culture in the software team for all aspects of technical development

• Ensure high performance, motivation and productivity within the software team to reach projects goals

Technical Skills:

• BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical hands-on experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of Design Patterns and Programming paradigms

• Solid knowledge for Software Development Life Cycle

• Experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability web applications with an active and growing user base

• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks 

• Experience on designing and implementing RESTful web service APIs 

• Experience with databases, SQL/NoSQL 

• Experience with cloud platforms 

• Proven working experience in MVC and microservices architectures

• Experience and solid understanding of the Mobile Development Life Cycle

• Familiarity with continuous integration and automation tools

• Experience working in an Agile environment with knowledge of SCRUM practices using management tools

• Ruby on Rails framework experience is a must
