System Access Security Engineer

About The Role:

System Access Security Engineer works as part of the team to manage and secure firewall and APT systems hosted on-premises.

This position will

• Experience in all firewall technologies (NGFW, IPS, identity based access control, app control, anti-bot, URL filtering, VPN, etc.)
• Experience with the following firewall vendors; Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper and Huawei (at least 3 of them must)
• Experience with the firewall policy change management platforms (Tufin, Algosec or Skybox)
• Experience with APT and SSL Interception systems
• Security standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, etc.) knowledge
• Advanced networking knowledge (network protocols and packet analysis)
• Linux/Unix knowledge
• At least 3 years of work experience in all above relevant areas
• Designing, installing, configuring and administering the relevant systems and implementing best practices
• Performing system updates, firmware upgrade and maintenance
• Ensuring that the errors are analyzed and the problems are solved in line with the log checks
• Carrying out the forward checks of the systems, detect the situations likely to cause interruption in advance and perform proactive works
• Planning and testing the disaster recovery scenarios
• Ensuring 24/7 availability, security, and high-performance functioning of the system infrastructure
• Providing after-hours support for emergencies and planned maintenance activities
• Designing and implementing monitoring and reporting functions
• Conducting requirement analysis, preparing technical specifications and performing PoC and tests.
• Documenting processes, procedures and operational activities
• Maintaining inventory and asset configuration
