Information Security Expert

What makes you a good fit:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Knowledge and experience about defense-in-depth security architecture and threat modelling
• Comprehensive understanding of network security, identity and access management, server and endpoint security, application security and new technologies such as container, API, cloud and blockchain
• Experience on cyber security solutions and technologies such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, VPN, EPP, EDR/XDR, Email Security, DDoS protection, DLP, SIEM
• Advanced knowledge of security frameworks and standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Possession of industry-recognized security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP etc.) is a plus

What you’ll experience working at Softtech:

• Work closely with IT and business teams to identify security risks and implement relevant security controls
• Play a critical role in ensuring the security of our systems and networks
• Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures and controls
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cyber security, research new technologies and conduct PoC activities
• Stay up-to-date on emerging cyber security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential threats on existing systems, processes and new projects
• Develop and conduct security awareness program
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
