For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification Automation (SIEA) unit, we are looking for a Part Time Working Student (Software Engineer). This role will be responsible for developing and enhancing existing software tools and processes within the SIEA department.
What part will you play?
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python programming language
- Create and modify SQL databases, including designing database schemas and tables
- Develop macros and scripts for the EPLAN electrical CAD software
- Develop macros and scripts for Microsoft Excel
- Develop Power App applications on the Microsoft 365 platform
- Deploy and maintain software tools and applications
- Deploy and maintain AI-powered tools and applications
What you need to make real what matters.
- 3rd year undergraduate student or master's student in an engineering discipline
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to work 3 days per week on-site in Kartal, Gebze and/or remotely
- Strong knowledge of Python programming
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Knowledge of the EPLAN electrical CAD software is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel and Power Apps, is an asset
- Experience with software deployment and maintenance
- Understanding of software development life cycle and deployment best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform is preferred.
